The founder of “Dreadlocks.nl”, the Dutch hairdresser Maarten Ploegmakers (aka Mister Dread), was one of the first in Europe who could create Dreadlocks of your own hair. In the early nineties he travelled to Jamaica to learn all techniques about Dreadlocks from the local Rastafari people. After his travels he introduced the Dreadlocks of your own hair in The Netherlands. He perfected his dreading skills during the years en learned his team at Ploegmakers Hairdressers all his knowledge and techniques. Nowadays a lot of salons offer Dreadlocks.
